Calls for Papers and Guest Editors

Each issue of Global Discourse is themed. We circulate calls for papers for each issue over 12 months in advance of publication. Current calls are listed here. At least one issue per year is associated with a specific event. We aim to develop annual events with the purpose of encouraging active, dynamic and interdisciplinary discourse within and between critical approaches. The keynote paper(s) for each year’s event will act as an annual statement of intent for the journal. The piece for 2010 was written by Dr Martin Weber of University of Queensland while, for 2011, Prof Norman Geras reflects on what it means to be Marxist and Prof Stuart Sim evaluates the achievements of post-Marxism. Previous events and calls for papers can be found at the bottom of this page.
