The journal is run by a committee of Regional Editors-in-Chief. These editors are responsible for validating the content of the journal, writing editorials, organising activities within each region and mediating with Sub-Editors in their region.

Sub-Editors exercise control over the submissions process determining, in consultation with the pertinent Regional Editor-in-Chief, whether initial submissions have the potential for publication. Sub-Editors then co-ordinate the peer review process before deciding, again in consultation with their Regional Editor-in-Chief, whether revised articles are suitable for publication. Sub-Editors then arrange for an academic to write a substantive, 1-2,000 word review of the accepted article.

The Book Review Editor is responsible for organising internationally review symposia, assessing the quality of the reviews and suggesting changes where needed.

The Multimedia Editors assess the quality and viability of submissions, moderating material and suggesting changes where needed.

The aim of publishing a similar number of contributions from each region is subject to the contributions received being of publishable quality.
